Kelly Barone has been a teacher and administrator in public schools since 1982 and was a ceramic teacher on staff at the Old Forge Arts Center (NYS) for 10 years. She was the artist curator for Adelaide Robineau's 100th anniversary of the Scarab Vase. Kelly started the Creative Collective, a gathering of experienced and beginning artists to share creative ideas and techniques. Members explore ideas in primarily in clay, but includes explorations in sculpture, mixed media, and jewelry.
Her ceramic work can be seen in the 2013 publication of 500 Teapots, Ceramic Monthly Calendar, and in her studio.
