Why Murder Mittens? Some people think cats have paws. Some think they have murder mittens. It’s all in your point of view, and a lot of my creative energy is focused on exploring how form, function and decoration affect those views. Also, cats. How can you go wrong, really?

Murder Mittens focuses on functional pottery - a mug with glazes that remind you of the blue ridge mountains, a plate with tiny pawprints or a bowl with a sgraffito cat sleeping inside. I also offer private pottery lessons for one-time or recurring students, with sensory accommodations available.
