I love color, pattern, and the lush layers we see in our daily environment here in Western North Carolina.
Inspired by these observed patterns and accidentally discovered compositions, I spend much of my time looking and sketching and photographing all that surrounds me.
As a studio artist for over three decades, I have taken my love of material and process in many different directions.
From textiles to collage, to printmaking to drawing and painting (in no particular order!) my consistent theme has been finding joy in color and in my observations and interpretations of nature and landscape.
