I am a photographer exploring the idea of lost America wherever I find it. A resident of Weaverville, NC, I currently focus on the heritage of Southern life throughout the surrounding regions and stories found therein.

I’m drawn to obscure scenes of the everyday which people might not otherwise experience. Day or night, my work chronicles abandoned places once new and full of hope by owners, but now represent the failure of structure and attention, and which will eventually become lost even to memory. Locations are shot as found with ambient and existing light, with nothing disturbed, staged or otherwise lit by me.
