Faux Bow Ties are one-of-a-kind bow ties of wood and other materials. The wooden Faux Bow Ties are all hand-crafted and hand-painted. Each of these ties is distinctive, unique, and wearable art.

Originally inspired by Chinese black lacquer art and mandala, I began working with wood, but I quickly learned that many materials and objects can become a bow tie. I have made Faux Bow Ties of wood, LEGOs, acrylic, plastic, keyboard keys, Scrabble tiles, eating utensils, bread, waffles, metals, and beads.

I also make barrettes, cuff links, pet tags, and pins to match.
