Asheville artist Margee Halsch produces colorful, energetic acrylic on canvas paintings and hand-painted silk garments using steam set dyes.
Her artwork is located at Mountain Nest Gallery in Black Mountain, NC and Gallery 339 Hot Springs, NC.
She learned from a variety of respected elders in a few major cities and studied under Diane Tuckman a French artist who originally brought silk painting to America. Her silk scarves and vests are being worn all around the world, from Ireland to Israel.
