Jan Swanson is a self-taught artist originally from Asheville. She is a graduate of Asheville High and Clemson University and now lives full-time in Weaverville. Her paintings are usually mixed media; acrylic paint, and papers she finds in various places including the attic of her great grandparents’ 150-year-old house in Weaverville. This is her second Safari!
